Hi!
Security gateway's name has been changed and I'd like to change the new name to
CMA as well. Actually I have a cluster with two members and the name of both
has been changed. Here comes the question
Do I have to remove the fw-object with the old name before I can create a new
one with new name or can the two (with same IP information) co-exists in the
rulebase until I have verified that the new ones are working fine? The point is
whether it has effect on SIC if two fw-objects with the same ip-information
coexist...
Please, share your experiences on the issue...
the new fw object can be created, but you cannot establish the sic with
this one unless you reset it on the gateway.
that means that you can only push the policy to one object at a time.
you can also detach a member from the cluster, rename it, reestablish
sic, attach it to the cluster.
if only the name change, why do you want to create a new object ?
