We have a CheckPoint NGX 6.0 between a transaction server and POS. We lost
several transactions packets and we installed a sniffer behind of CheckPoint
NGX 6.0
POS <----> NGX6.0 <------> Transaction Server
with sniffer
POS <----> NGX 6.0 <-----> Transaction Server

Sniffer
We saw in the sniffer, that the Transaction Server is sending a tcp
retransmision before the original answer (normal transmision). The behavior is
like the NGX6.0 takes the packet and after sometime is delivery to the POS.
This happen 12 seconds after the request was sent by the POS and the sniffer
get the original answer (normal transmission) 14 seconds after. One way to
probe this situation is with the packet sequence number. After this problem
introducction my question is: Is there some parameters in the Check Point that
I need to setup or where do I need to do some tuning? because the transaction
packet never is dropped. I turn on the log to see if is possible for us to
catch the packet problem. Thaks in advance for your help.
