hi all,
is it possible to install the utm1 total security on a regular utm1
appliance ?
yes - you can install the splat on the UTM-1 appliance.
but: I don't see any reason for doing that. if you buy UTM-1
appliance you buy hardward + checkpoint license. if you install the
"normal" fw1-utm on it you need to buy an additional license. and the
software is in fact the same. so why to you want to do that?
if you are looking for an appliance a can recommend nokia.
is there any iso available somewhere for this ?
splat
with this version, is it possible to install a smartcenter with a
gateway on the same utm1,
and have this gateway being part of an ha or cluster ?
having smartcenter and cluster-node one one hardware is *not*
supported with fw1.
only with the utm-1 appliance there is a special support for that.
