| Hello Edouard

| Did you gain any insight into the problem described below?
|
| I had more or less the same problem when rebulding one node of a SPlat
| cluster after a failed upgrade. As soon as SIC was complete between
| the rebuilt node and the manager, neither node saw the other, and both
| tried to become the only active cluster member.
|
| I could successfully push policy to both nodes, and both showed as OK
| in Smartview Monitor, but all traffic through the firewall was
| failing.
|
| The problem went away after I rebooted the newly rebuilt node - when
| it came up, it correctly found its mate. There was probably less than
| a five minute outage in total. But I'm uncomfortable that I don't
| understand why it happened and I can't know that it won't happen again
| for some reason.

Did you carefully observe the ethernet addresses and ARP traffic? That
is common problem that is too easily overlooked completely. Some
switches can be a real PITA with clustering.

Hugo.
