Hi all,
does anyone ever installed a Provider-1 NGX R65 SPLAT 2.6 on Dell
2950 III series with
dual quad core processor ( Intel 54xx family ) and 16GB of
physical memory ?
We have 2 different mds enviroment.on two server with same hardware
configuration ( as above ).
I ask this because on both installation after a few hours ( max 2,3
days ) many FWD and CPCA process
die due to devasting memory usage. Every fwd process uses 2GB of
memory and then
obviously die because this is the maximum addressable memory for
every process...
Also FWM process die due to the same problem.
All hardware it's ok because we replicated the same issue on 4 Dell
with same hw. configuration.
Magically if we remove the second quad core processor P-1 works
without a problem!!!!
Did anyone experienced the same problem ?
