Have any one played with NGX VSX in a production enviornmente. We have a client who has
requirment for VSX. Can you install it on any intel platform. From documentation it looks
like that it runs on vmware and have several virtual instances acting as different
firewalls. Does any one know what term "firefly" refers to.
regards.
I've just put into production a few weeks ago a VSX cluster on M8 Firefly.
the M series Firefly machines are rebranded IBM x3650 servers.
VSX is a Check Point spinoff of vserver modified to support advanced
networking and their firewall thingie.
If you don't want to run on CP provided hardware, just pick any server
from the hardware compatibility list for VSX and install it on that.

Eugen.
