R65 HFA_2 on splat What seems to be happening is after some length of time, sometimes minutes, sometimes days, it stops receiving emails. The tracker shows that all email is falling out the bottom of the rule list as if the email rules were not there. Sometimes reloading the rules kicks it into motion again, sometimes restarting the services (via web interface) works, but then sometimes only a reboot will get things moving again.
If it was something like the security server holding the emails and not passing them to the virus program (on another box via CVP) I could deal with, at least then outside email servers would think we exist. But what I'm seeing is the connection (testing via telnet to port 25) succeeds but no replies nor echos of any type regardless of the sent strings. Anybody have clues?? -ken cameron, CCP.
