I'm having a problem recreating the management certificate for my firewall.
I'm on R54 NG AI. I'm unable to use the gui from my management workstation,
just have ssh access and the CA management web page ( port 18265) to do
anything with.
I've inadvertently deleted my cp_mgmt certificate, this is, I believe, why I
can't use the gui. I've tried using the management page to recreate the
cert, but it stays as pending when I create it this way. I have no idea how
to get it from being pending to showing a status of active. Or, actually, if
I should be creating it this way.
This is what I get when I try to create the certificate:
Serial Number 90500
User Name(CN) cp_mgmt
Registration Key 90500-mxy778
Registration Key Expiration Tue Aug 12 00:00:00 2008
Status The certificate is pending for the user
DN
CN=cp_mgmt,OU=users,O=mpcgw1.proteomeconsortium.org.6nvqcn
Valid Until Thu Aug 5 00:00:00 2010
Can anyone tell whether this is what it's supposed to look like ? And how I
would make it active ?
Thanks
Bob Grabbe
