Now that CheckPoint is providing (pre-hardened) Secureplatform it's not so common anymore to run the fw gateways on Windows platform. MS has however a good article here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/prodtech/windowsserver2003/w2003hg/s3sgch12.mspx
