Edouard,
It is a known issue that the upgrade_export utility is not retro-compatible
with older versions. Chances are you won't be able to perform a direct
database migration from such an older version. Add also the fact that you
are going cross-platform although this shouldn't matter in *theory*.

A few things you can try is to get the latest upgrade_export utility and use
that on your FP2 system in order to export the database. If this still
doesn't work and you absolutely have to migrate the database (due to extreme
large rulebase for example), you can also go step by step in an incremental
fashion by exporting your database into a NG R55 system, then to an NGX R60
and finally to the NGX R65 system. It's painful, but it has worked for me in
the past.

Good luck!

Minh

Subject: [FW-1] How to upgrade from NG FP2 (SmartCenter Windows) to R65
(SPLAT)

Hello,

I am trying to perform an upgrade from a NG AI FP2 running on a windows
machine to NGX R65 with SPLAT (SecurePlatform). I am having a lot of
promblems trying to migrate the DataBase using upgrade_export on the
windows and upgrade_import on the secure platform.

Do you any procedure to perform this upgrade ?

Please let me know,

Regards
