We recently purchased a UTM-1 270 to replace our Nokia IP350 and another for a branch. I thought I had it all figured out but I'm having problems with how things are setup with the R65.
My External IP is 198.108.243.2/24 connected directly to a Cisco 1720 My Internal IP is 198.108.243.129/24 connected to a switch within our network I want the workstations to use .129 as the gateway and then the data go out .2 and when information returns it would come in through .2 and to our network on .129 On the box itself I can ping both connections, I can ping out to the internet, but can not connect to anything within the network. If I take the .129 out of the gateway on a network machine I can connect to the machine for the Dashboard and Webgui. I thought I could use the INT as a gateway, but maybe it has to do with my routes. I have the default routes of 198.108.243.0 Internal 198.108.243.0 External I can break the network up if that would help. I've even tried using another network (home wireless) as the outside to see if I can get data to pass through but with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
