Dear Soeren, You will need a Windows Server to manage FDE and ME. The SecureAccess (former Integrity) part can be managed from SPLAT as well.
Management for FDE, ME and SecureAccess isn't merged yet. This means you will have different management interfaces. Regarding documentation: You need parts from 6.5, 7.0GA and R71 actually, the "R71 documentation" link in Check Point's Usercenter isn't enough to get the full story. Endpoint Security Client R71 unites Pointsec4PC, Pointsec ME, Pointsec Device Protector, Integrity and SecuRemote/SecureClient. I would really recommend you to think about contacting a check point partner which is _familiar_ with (I don't mean sell!) all components. This will probably save you weeks of time.
