Hi, I've a postfix mailgateway behind Checkpoint FW-s Secure SMTP server. Recently I become aware of the option to notify sender on error ( when configuring SMTP resource ). Till then I couldn't use any of the rejection rules with Postfix, because it would reject the message back to firewalls SMTP and it then tryes to send it to Postfix email gateway again.
Now when I enable the option to notify sender, the messages won't start bouncing between the firewall and mail gateway. So my problem is that I don't know where to change the address CP sends the notification to sender, default is postmas...@myfwhostname(would like to change it to something like [email protected]), and also it doesn't seem to forward the custom rejection that Postfix email gateway generates, instead something like this : Your mail message could not be delivered, or may have encountered some trouble in the delivery process. Due to security reasons the body of your undeliverable mail will not be attached. Email Session ID: {30343231-35303332-3535-0} Final error mail: mail can not be delivered to the following recipients : Does anyone know how to solve this, I could really proffit to be able to use RBL-s and different rejections with Postfix to throgh away that junkmail moving around. OT: another option I tryed to search was how to DISCARD RBL listed hosts and nonfqdn senders etc. instead of rejecting, but by default Postfix doesn't support that.
