Anyone using a HP NC364T 4-port GB NIC card in a HP Proliant server specifically the DL140 G3 running NGX R65 SPLAT 2.4? The hardware compatibility chart is indicating it's not supported with SPLAT 2.4 but right now it's appears to be the only option I have to add an additional interface to the server with no available PCI slots. A search in the knowledge base is indicating it's a BIOS issue with some hardware platforms so maybe it's been resolved with a BIOS upgrade. I need another interface for a test environment we are building and this appears to be the best option to secure internet access for patching in that environment and also control data transfers to that environment from the production environment for testing.
Another question would then be if I swap out my current NC360T 2-port GB NIC card will it impact the interface numbering other than just requiring me to determining what port is what interface number?
