There is often little worth backing up on Nokia devices.  Nearly all of
the firewall config is stored on the SmartServer, so the only things
worth saving are any static routes and interface configs on the box
itself.  All of this can be found within the /config directory, so
generally all that's needed is a copy of that, saved whenever a major
change is performed, and you can easily recreate the box's config when
needed.

IPSO supports ssh keys for authorization, so there should be no trouble
automating the ability to run lots of commands.

If only someone would write an IPSO module for RANCID.  :)
