Hi,
when you have a valid support contract (e.g. CES Standard), there is no
charge for the license upgrade to operate the new version, even if it's
a new major version. Afaik, there is no need to make a FuncUpgrade from
e.g. VEE to work with NGX R65.
Upgrading the license from NG to NGX or even R70 is possible with a
valid contract. When using a good old VEE, you cannot scan for viruses,
sure. But the main functionality will be given. If you need specific new
features, a FuncUpgrade is necessary. In this case, please contact your
reseller.
Regarding re-licensing: This is only necessary when the IP address of
the license itself changes, not when getting the license for a new
version. Moving the license from one IP to another is strongly restricted.
Hope it helps,
best regards,
Matthias
