If you are using Windows 7, it may the TCP Auto-tuning feature causing the issue.

I have some problems with office mode. I get office mode address ok and I can also connect to the encryption domain, but for some reason I don't get any DNS servers and DNS suffixes on the adaptor. I get office mode from a DHCP server and I know the scoop is correctly defined.
