Hi All,
We are using a IP560 Nokia checkpoint. We have a long delay in receiving and
sending emails. In the firewall smtp rules have been set to receive and send
through 25 port. however when telnetting from Internet on 25 port of our
incoming mail server the response is connection timed out sometimes and gets
connected sometimes with the banner coming up slowly.
I scanned using nmap and found the smtp 25 port showing as filtered. I guess
this should be actually shown as open. What could be the reason for this. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
