connect via ssh, then check/modify the content of /etc/sysconfig/ntp :
INTERVAL=3600
SERVER1=myserver.mydomain.local
USE_NTP=true
you can then start ntp with /etc/init.d/ntp start, but this only runs an
ntpdate.
(no daemon).
If you dosabled the implied rules that allows all traffic from the
security gateway, you have to create
in your rulebase a rule that allows traffic from your security gateway
to the ntp server.
