We had done some work with the generic MSI tools to build new packages for a
client a while ago. Basic process was to set up a client the way we wanted,
then copy the appropriate files back into the MSI package for deployment.

Subject: [FW-1] How to build custom SecureClient Installation Packages (R71)
?

Hi all!
Up to version R60 we were able to build our own SecureClient packages
using the cpmsi_tool.exe and the SecureClient Packaging Tool. The
cpmsi_tool does not seem to work anymore and the SecureClient Packaging
Tool only lets me select the version up to R60.
I do not want to build an Endpoint Security package but a SecureClient
(or is it Remote Access Client?) package.

Is there any documentation on how to do this on a R71.30 platform? Or
are there other methods nowadays to create unattended installations?

Any help is appreciated.

Best regards
Carsten Schmidt
