Firewall has one license attached. License can be local or central. If
central, then all licenses
are generated with primary smartcenter IP.
Surely the firewalls will still proces traffic regardless of the manager being
down, obviously if this is not for a long period then it could affect vpn
traffic i'm i correct?
As long as the smartcenter is down, you can't change anything in the
security configuration.
So in Smartcenter HA are we saying all firewalls have to have the secondary and
primary licenses attached, we just have primary attached to the firewall
modules, using central licensing
this is correct. even the secondary management license is generfated
with the primary IP.
