The old one is still valid on the old releases.
As long as you don't detach the license from the gateway, you can still
use the gateway and all licensed features.
You must be carefull as some features requires a specific blade (for
example snx requires mobile access blade),
or the management blades needs to be attached to a smartcenter
container; (if you have one licence for smartcenter and one for reporter
with two different IPs, the software blade migration will create only
one management container; You have to contact account services to get a
management container to which you can attach the reporting blade).

describes the blades functionnality.
