can someone confirm, that the CheckPoint - III 2200 Appliance can be
configured tho run on a cable modem connection. Or with PPPoE.
I configured 2207 devices, and they have only ethernet connections.
pppoe is supported, and also cable modem if this one has an ethernet port
on which you can plug the appliance.
Please have a look at the device hardware, not all 2200 appliances are
rack format
(in case it matters for your installation).
I have to setup a firewall and be afraid that it will not run.
Or can I setup a Checkpoint IP290 to run on a internet connection like
this?
