You can use a certificate generated by the smartcenter CA.
Select the users tab in smartdahboard objects (or "manage" - "users and
administrators" from the menu.
Edit the admin you'd like to authenticate with certificates (or create a
new one) , then choose certificates in the left menu.
click the "generate and save" button to generate a certificate and save
itto the local hard drive.
Store the generated file somewhere on your desktop for testing.
install the database to the SC (policy - install database).
close smartdashboard.
open smartdashboard and click on "certificate" then enter certificate
path and name;
Enter the password for the certificate, then OK.
