Hi
Freeswan can do simple DES but it is not supported by the maintenainer of
the freeswan project....

You have to hack around in the freeswan sources to get it working with DES.
(I tried it with freeswan 1.5 with a sonicall a long time ago...but I don't
know if it works with newer freeswan releases and with cpfw1)
