FW-1 SP4 does not exist for the public yet. Try `$FWDIR/bin/fw ver` to get
the build number and determine the version you are using.
My advice would be to connect to ttya of the box (assuming Sun HW instead if
x86), boot and watch the console messages. You should be able to determine
where the rc scripts die.

Subject: [FW1] fw4.1 does not start at boot time
Hi all,
I have an "old" fw4.1SP4 installation running on Solaris2.6. I have not
installed that one, but I know that the firewall- service does not start at
boot time. I have doublechecked /etc/rcS.d/S25fw1boot which is there and
executable. FW_BOOT_DIR point to /etc/fw.boot which is there either. Any
suggestions why fw1 does not start at boot time ?
Thanks,
Joerg
