Subject: Re: [FW1] CPMAD alerts and mail
1. You can configur CPMAD to send mail, but I'm not sure you can have both (mail
and alert) at the same time...if you want to have e-mail notifications the
simply replace alert command with mail command in the properties of the policy
(Log and Alert tab).
2.As to your second question-I tested CPMAD with fscan and nmap scanners - each
time I initate port range scan CPMAD correctly detects it and send me an e-mail.

Has anyone been able to setup CPMAD to send both mail and Alert (FW-1 sendmail
and display System Alerts)?
I running FW 4.1 SP3 and using NT 4.0 in my Lab.
Also is there a way for CPMAD to detect if someone is scanning your network
Range NOT a individual
host ports.
For example. Scanning a entire 150.1.1.XXX range for FTP.
Thanks
