We're deploying FW-1 on two Nokia boxes, which will run a VPN to HQ which
runs NT based FW-1. All are running v4.1 SP3.
The sites are currently connected over a WAN. One of the Nokia boxes has a
100 node license, and the other has a 250 node license. The HQ site has an
unlimited node license.
After running the Nokia boxes for a short time, they will start complaining
about to many hosts. The reason for this seems to be that the nokia boxes
picks up nodes running on the LAN at HQ and other sites in the in the WAN.
We want to keep the sites connected to the WAN for some time, so it is not
an option to drop the WAN links. But does this mean we have to run a
unlimited node license on the Nokia boxes as well?
I don't quite see how devices on the HQ lan would initiate any connections
to the Nokia boxes, unless it's from a broadcast of some kind... but then
the WAN routers should stop this, should they not?
