These things drive me nuts. Basically if one has a distributed installation (i.e. separate management console not on a Nokia IPSO platform) then this upgrade is useless without the coinciding CheckPoint release for the management console's OS.
I really hope CP and Nokia get their releases more in line. That SP4 came out on their (CP's) site days before IPSO 3.4 was available. I heard that is caused a bunch of calls to support @ CP, additionally I heard that people are still calling trying to verify that they can use something that says its for the VPN-1 Appliance 330, 440, etc. on the Nokia IP330, IP440, etc.
I wish they would just let Nokia distribute everything needed.
Oh well.

Subject: [FW1] IPSO 3.4 available *and* FW-1 4.1 SP4
The SP4 downloads appear to only be for IPSO at present, awaiting the
NT/2000 SP4 so I can upgrade a management station or two. Has anyone
perform either IPSO or FW-1 upgrades yet?
Some good things:
IPSO - IPsec
FW-1 - *persistent* IPsec tunnels - woo hoo!
