Subject: RE: [FW1] Nokia IP, telnet arrow keysDownload the "Unsupported" package from Nokia's site (https://filehost.iprg.nokia.com/level3/resolutions/1783/unsupported.tgz) This requires a login to Nokia's support site, which you can get at support.nokia.com. This package includes numerous utilities, one of which is the bash shell.HTHDan Hitchcock

Subject: RE: [FW1] Nokia IP, telnet arrow keysI don't think this feature is available in the default Nokia IPSO shell, which is C shell. There is also Bourne shell you can switch too, but I am reasonably sure it doesn't have that feature either, at least it doesn't on SCO/OpenServer.
Too bad IPSO doesn't have bash, it may have this feature in addition to definitely having the command completion option with the tab key....

Subject: [FW1] Nokia IP, telnet arrow keys
I am hoping this is not a dumb question, but not hoping much. I have searched around for the answer to this but without much success.
On the Nokia IP series:
Does anyone know how to get the up and down arrows to work in an SSH or Windows telnet session to the Nokias so that it brings previous commands to the command line?
Or more specfically, if I press up-arrow, what character sequence would the client need to send to the Nokia to get it to bring the previous command to the command line?
Thanks,
Paul.
