You are missing a secure remote license. License could read
cpvp-vsr-xxx-3des-v41 CK-xxxxxxx. As of 4.1 the license for secure remote
it separate from the fw license. You should be able to get this through
your var. They have to make a request for a separate certificate key from
checkpoint which you can then use for these connections.

Subject: [FW1] securemote licence problem

Hi,

I am using a securemote client on a W2K server.
Asked the securemote licence to checkpoint and installed it .

When i first tried to connect to the firewall, i receive a message :
"this site is not licenced ..."

the printlic command told me :

        192.168.1.1 Never cpvp-vig-100-3des-v41 CK-EF.........

I thought that the rootable IP adress of our firewall had to be added
(cf Phoneboy).

I added the rootable IP adress , stoped and retarted the firewall.

the printlic command now tells me :

        213.41.26.67 Nevre cpvp-vig-100-3des-v41 CK-EF.........

        192.168.1.1 Never cpvp-vig-100-3des-v41 CK-EF.........

Unfortunately, I still have the same message with my securemote client
and can't understand why .

PS: we allready have a VPN Connection with another site wich is working
properly.

Any Idea ??

David
