Hi there Christopher,

You can create a TCP Service object as follows:

    Name: <service name>-<start port range>-<end port range>
    Comment: <service name> ports - <start port range>/tcp-<end port range>
/tcp
    Port: <start port range>-<end port range>

I hope that this assists you.

Regards,

Ken...

Folks--

     Firewall-1 4.1 SP2 on MS Windows NT 4.0 SP 6a.

I want to create a custom service for an application that uses a
range of TCP ports (4010 o 4099). I looked at how to create this beast,
however, no cells for a range of destination ports exists. (There is a range
for source ports, though.) I have created custom services before, but they
only use one port.

     How can this be accomplished?
