Hello,

I have recently started getting an error message in my logs that I have
never seen before; "reason: violated unidirectional connection"

I receive this error during FTP data transfer attempts. Here's what I
get from my logs:

                service source destination
description

ACCEPT ftp-data XXX.XXX.XXX.5 XXX.XXX.XXX.6 "reason:
violated unidirectional connection"

AND

REJECT ftp-data XXX.XXX.XXX.5 XXX.XXX.XXX.6 "reason:
violated unidirectional connection"

I'm seeing both ACCEPTS and REJECTS in my logs. I have never seen this
entry before. I took a look at checkpoints knowledge base and they have
a solution, but it doesn't explain what is causing it. I'm not to happy
with changing the firewall without knowing why I should.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Aeon Hale
