Yes it is possible. I have a question for you ... I just installed two
NGs on solaris 8 with Rainwall....but they started to crash ...then I
got explained that I need NG FR-1 ...do you know about it ?

Subject: [FW-1] Redundant Firewall with mixed OS's

Hi there,

I'm planning a redundant, load balanced firewall. Two filter, one mgmt
station. Checkpoint 4.1 or NG. OS for the filtermodules is Solaris,
HA-software is Rainwall Enterprise Edition. Is it possible to run the
mgmt station with W2K or Red Hat Linux instead of Solaris without
hassle?

Kind regards/Mit freundlichen Gruessen
