Hello I am trying to connect a new firewall module to my management station. Both management station an firewall module is version 4.1, and as far as I can see, I have done everything by the book (the Installation guide). Still , I can't get to load a policy from the management station onto the firewall module. I made a simple rulebase, and tried to load it onto the firewall module, but the process gives me this result: ------------------------- Standard: Compiled OK.
Downloading Security Policy ..\conf\Standard.pf to FireWall cannot unlink C:\WINNT\FW1\4.1\tmp\Standard.fc: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. cannot unlink C:\WINNT\FW1\4.1\tmp\Standard.ft: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. cannot unlink C:\WINNT\FW1\4.1\tmp\Standard.lg: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. cannot unlink C:\WINNT\FW1\4.1\tmp\Standard.set: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. gz_file_compress: fopen failed for C:\WINNT\FW1\4.1\tmp\Standard.lg: The system cannot find the file specified. It should not be an authetication problem, because I've set every entry in the control.map file to "none" during the operations, and I got rid of all the 'authentication error'-s. I also have issued the 'fw putkey' command both ways - several times. I issued the command both before, during and after a restart of the firewall on both the firewall module and the management station. I even tried to reboot the machines, but the problem is still there. As I said, I have tried EVERYTHING (maybe except the right thing) as far as I know, but the problem persists. Does any of you out there have a suggestion?
