Currently, my TCP Session Timeout is set at 60 minutes. I have a business owner that wants to have it at 8 hours. Is there a security risk? What happen if I make the user autheniticate before connecting, would it be okay for the TCP session to be 8 hours? Your thoughts are appricated.
