1002 is unassigned according to IANA. Why don't you connect to it and see
if it gives you an interesting banner.

Subject: [FW-1] port 1002

hi,

i have run a port scan on my network and it tells me that port 389 (ldap?)
and port 1002 are open. I can't see anywhere in my rulebase that i am
allowing these ports, so how are they getting 'allowed'?

Also, what is port 1002? I can't find it on any of the common TCP/IP port
assignment references.

thx

rich :)
