You want to install compat-libstc++ (I think that's the name) it resides
on the second redhat cd, it basically gives you the ability to work with
older c++ binaries. If u still need help e-mail me directly and I'll
get the exact library you need. It tells u which one it is when you
first install the cp and it detects the newer kernel.

Subject: [FW-1] C++ library for FP1 under Redhat7.2

Hi,

When installing FP1 a warning message stating that that a you need to
ensure a certain library is loaded? Can anyone shed any light as to
where this library is? Is it an RPM on the 7.2 CD? Can I download it
from somewhere?

By default I have libstdc++-2.96-98 installed - Is this the correct one?

Thanks,

Steve.
