Network Flight Recorder: 2.x Series- Solid IDS, terrible Java GUI 3.x Series- Appliance CD that was never really released 4.x Series- Appliance with a terrible Windows GUI 5.x Series- Not a whole lot of experience with the newer versions though from what I have heard they have really improved the product. The problem is, Dragon IDS (Enterasys) is a lot like NFR but seemingly faster, more reliable, and with a solid management heirarchy and interface.
