They mean that you have to turn on routing on the win2k server and make sure that it's working right. A host on any of your subnets should be able to ping hosts on the others. The rationale is that routing has to be working first, so that when you install the firewall, you don't have to trouble shoot routing issues, just firewall issues.
Routing in Win2k has to be turned on in the registry. Look on the Checkpoint knowledge base for the reg settings. For example, if you have host A on the public subnet, host b on the dmz, and host c on your private subnet, then A should be able to ping B and C, B should be able to ping A and C, and C should be able to ping A and B. >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 02/15/02 09:05AM >>> I'm new to the list, and to Check Point.
