We have tried the two ways on NT and Linux (W2K have problems with proxy), automatic arp and manual, for manual configuration we have to put the local.arp file in $FWDIR/conf , not in the  $FWDIR/state directory as it used to be.

On windows platforms you can check with the command: fw ctl arp

Hi All,

I have installed CheckPoint NG on Solaris 7 -32bit mode. But ARP is
not functioning, could anybody clarify how the ARP is handled in NG. Since
there is no need of local.arp file in NG..
