When
you are referring to a NAT'ed device in the encryption domain, does that include
Hide NAT used to provide Internet access? The NAT issue is fairly important
since almost all of the computers on my network are configured for NAT in one
way or another. Almost all of the computers on my LAN are able to use hide NAT
to access the Internet. Most of the servers on my network are configured to use
Static NAT to provide services to the Internet. In order to have a server
initiate a VPN connection, I would have to disable static NAT on the server's
workstation object and disable hide NAT on the server's network
object.
If I
find anything I will post it to the mailing list.
I have
a Cisco 2621 router behind Check Point VPN-1. Right now plan B would
be to configure Check Point to pass the packets to the Cisco router and use the
Cisco router as the IPSec gateway.

I have a Cisco 3640 (IOS 12.2) with a VPN to CP NG FP1. I too was able to talk bi-directional to the FW and Cisco, from the devices in the encryption domain to the Cisco worked. But from Cisco to a NAT'ed device in the encryption domain, it did not work. The error I received was an "invalid payload type".
