Hello! The gui based management utility and the policy editor are the same
thing - since you're on rh, you will not be able to have a gui client on the
linux box, you'll need any windows client, where you'll install the policy
editor. Under cpconfig on your management/enforcment, make sure to include
the IP address of the host that will connect to the firewall via the policy
editor, under the option gui clients. Only Solaris has a Motif client for
unix based systems. One additional layer of security you can add, is to use
SecurCRT or a derivative, and do port forwarding to the FW on port 258. In
that case, be sure to include the loopback address in the cpconfig > gui
clients option.
