Title: RE: [FW-1] ws_ftp_pro and ssl

This is a known issue with IPSwitch.  You should be showing a drop on the connection on your cleanup rule.  WSFTP Pro uses passive ftp and opens a high tcp port for data.  This port changes with each connection.  In reading the docs, the client can specify which port to use by using a port command.  This would allow you to make a service and open one upper port to use for ftp.

Subject: [FW-1] ws_ftp_pro and ssl

All,

I need help with a ftp connection that uses ssl.  The client
is ws_ftp_pro.  I can connect when not using ssl, but as soon as
I enable the ssl, it breaks.  If I take down my ruleset, it works
properly.

Truly baffled???

Jeff
