I think you have to set eeprom boot-file setting to kernel/unix to boot in
32bit mode. isainfo -kv will tell you what kernel you are running.

Subject: [FW-1] FW-1 4.1 on SUN 280R

Greetings,

Does anyone know if FireWall-1 v4.1 SP5 will run on a Sun 280R? My UNIX
admins
cannot find a way to get Solaris 8 on a 280R to downgrade from 64 bit to 32
bit.
If anyone knows how to force the kernel to 32 bit, I would be greatly
appreciative!
