But it doesn't work for the lates Sun platforms as there're Blade 100 (UltraSPARC IIe), Netra t1 AC200 (UltraSPARC IIe) and 280R (UltraSPARC III). It's not possible to run 32-bit mode even with the mentioned eeprom setting as Solaris 8 doesn't install 32-bit kernel for those platforms during its installation, only 64-bit kernel. So you can't boot it... The one and only way to solve this situation is to run Solaris 8, 64-bit and FW-1 NG FP2...or to downgrade to older systems (which is not really an alternative).
