We're having the usual problems upgrading a management console from 4.0SP7 to 4.1 (my best guess is that we ran out of swap space during the initial attempt and things have just gone downhill from there). We've decided to go the build-a-new-box-and-drop-in route at this point. Should we be able to just install the version of 4.1SP5 downloadable from support.checkpoint.com, or is there some base version that has to go on a new box first before installing a service pack? If the latter, is it downloadable somewhere, or do we need a piece of physical media?
