Hi,
you need the solaris patches 108434 and 108435 to install NG on a Solaris 8
machine. Unfortunately the install script doesn't mention this. I think this
solves your problem.

In the process of upgrading a Solaris 8 management station from
firewall-1 V4.1.SP5 to NG. When installing the SVN kit I receive the
following error.
