Hi, I am new to check point and would like to know how people upgraded a FP-1 box to FP-2.
I have the documents from Checkpoint, and they look pretty harmless, but as always something will go wrong. I have the FP-2 fw1_NG_FP2_B52163_4_Win and fwgui_NG_FP2_520146_1_win files. My firewall is a Windows 2000 server system. People say to always do a "backup" of the policy..etc first. How exactly and What exactly should I be backing up. Thanks much in advanced.
