Not yet, but here is our latest findings:

On startup, the cpwd process, (Checkpoint Watch Dog) starts up first, with
no errors. It then begins the other necessary processes. It is supposed to
start CPD, but gives an error of "CPD already running." This is not true,
but cpwd seems to think so. It then continues to start up the other
processes successfully.

After this, if we manually start cpd, all is well.

Our current theory is that perhaps there is an enviroment variable that is
not set when the start up script runs, but is set in the shell when root
manually runs cpd.

We will continue to explore and troubleshoot this during the week. We are
trying to avoid openning a ticket with Checkpoint as that is usually a waste
of resources if we can figure it out ourselves.

Any input from anyone who has seen this would be greatly appreciated!
Andy
